Nation First, Always First
We celebrated the 75th Independence Day to honour the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters for the nation. The theme of the celebration was 'Nation First, Always First'
On Saturday, 14th August 2021 the celebration of Independence Day was held in a mesmerizing way in the campus of Sacred Heart Convent Higher Secondary School, Mathura. The celebration began with a prayer service conducted by our vice principal along with the staff members. Chief Guest Mrs. Anita Arora expressed her patriotic feelings through her eloquent speech. Patriotic songs and dance presentations added beauty to the celebration.
The Independence Day celebration was combined with the retirement ceremony of the days' Guest of honour, Mrs. Sushma Bhatia, wherein she was felicitated by the Manager Sr. Lavinia Mascarenhas and Principal Sr. Agnes Benjamin. Mrs. Sushma Bhatia expressed her gratitude towards the management through her speech. Lastly valuable thoughts were poured in by the head of the institution, Principal Sr. Agnes.
On 15th August, 2021 once again we assembled in the school to continue with the Independence Day celebration. The program began with a short prayer said by the Manager Sr. Lavinia Mascarenhas. Chief guest Mrs. Anita Arora hoisted the National Flag.
