Republic Day Celebration - 26th January, 2022
"Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”.
Evoking the national spirit,Sacred Heart Convent Higher Secondary School celebrated 73rd Republic Day with the underlying theme 'India@75' to honour 75 years of independence and 'Azadika Amrit mahotsav' with great patriotic fervour and exuberance on the 26th January, 2022. The programme commenced with March Past by the teachers and the unfurling of the tricolour by the chief guest Mr Pankaj Bhatt which was accompanied by the rendition of National Anthem.Welcome address was delivered by Mrs. Roshni followed by the honouring event of the chief guest. A plethora of activities were organised to infuse the spirit of unity, brotherhood and patriotism.Events included speeches by the students on the history and importance of Republic day. The school echoed with patriotic zeal as teachers danced to the tunes of patriotism, sang patriotic songs, and even wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion.The programme concluded with motivational message by Mr.Pankaj Bhatt. Principal, Sister Agnes in her address reminded about the duties as the future citizens of the country. She further urged to envision the mission of serving the nation with ardent spirit and responsibility.
The celebration ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Shweta Khatri.
